You know those couples you meet and you instantly know they were meant to be together? That’s Henry & Emily. Their celebration was full of love, laughter, and super sweet personal touches - just like them.

Music is a cornerstone of Emily & Henry’s relationship, so it made sense that they would get married at Planet Bluegrass which doubles as a wedding venue and music festival site.
Their love of music was woven thoughtfully through their day, from their concert-poster-style invitations to Henry’s dad’s band, Peach Pie, playing as they said their “I do’s.” Colorado weather did its Colorado weather thing, but even a hail and lightning storm couldn’t dampen this party! And with Hitched AF by their side, they got to kick up their feet and enjoy their day completely.
Wedding Management
Not big fans of cake? No problem! Instead of a traditional cake, Emily & Henry opted for a “cake” made of 3 giant wheels of cheese - each from a place that was important to the couple, and all delicious! These were sliced and served alongside other assorted desserts from Greens Point Catering.

A friend of the couple provided the artwork for their invitations - a bluegrass concert poster like the ones hanging on the walls at Planet Bluegrass, featuring their precious pup John John.

Henry and his dad, Tico, are both in bands. Henry’s band played a set at their welcome party on Friday night, and Tico’s band played for their wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Henry even made a guest appearance on the bass guitar with Great Family Reunion as the dance party raged on!

Her out-of-the-box creativity and ideas helped us tailor our day to exactly what WE wanted. On the day of the wedding, she was instrumental in seamlessly pulling off a last minute ceremony change when a hail storm rolled through, working with our vendors and family to move everything inside and preserving the feel of our carefully planned ceremony.
