Rainbows & glitter in the arts district
At our first meeting, Ashley described herself as "rainbows, unicorns & glitter" and their wedding color scheme as "all of them." Obviously this was going to be a match made in wedding planning heaven. From the rainbow-hued florals to the colorful cocktail guest attire to Ashley & Ramiro's DIY decor projects, this wedding was all about color and fun.

Ashley & Ramiro had been on their wedding planning journey for several months before connecting with Hitched AF. They initially planned to elope, but as they started planning they decided it was important to them to gather their friends and family to witness the occasion. Their priorities were keeping the wedding intimate while infusing it with color, fun, and personal touches. And that's exactly what they got!

Ashley & Ramiro commissioned a custom sketch of the two of them with their 3 dogs, which appeared on their gift bag favors, custom macarons, and temporary tattoos.

To keep some of the intimacy of the elopement they'd originally planned, we built in moments throughout their timeline for the two of them to slip away and have time together. They shared private vows before their guests arrived, and they snuck away for a unity joint after the ceremony!

Hitched AF coordinated with Ramiro's mom to surprise the couple with a mariachi performance during dinner. We loved facilitating this special family tradition, and the energy created from the performance carried us right into a non-stop dance party!

Ashley & Ramiro hired an all-star vendor team they knew could pull off their colorful dream wedding. They trusted vendors to do their thing, and added their own DIY projects, which resulted in a unique, creative, and super personal wedding design.
